Extremadura has many surprises for us and this is one of older.
The Mancomunidad of the Mountain of San Pedro is one of the hearths more important than the Spanish megaliths while being the Roads of Dolmens one of the greatest tourist attractions. They are more 40 dolmens that they arrived to us belonging the period’s Neolithic era and at Calcolítique. Dolmens are monuments where what is late were buried, in an individual or collective way, while following the rite of the burial. With them, in the rooms of the dolmen, the ajuar was placed which would accompany it in its life by moreover further. The material employed is the granite although we can find dolmens carried out of slate. With regard to their structure there are those of simple room, room with long runner or room with short runner. The materials found in the latter go from cut industry (triangular points, blades, and scrapers), ornamentations (accounts of collar and hanging) and ceramics to idols in anthropomorphic matter.
