This eminently religious conclusion perceived importance throughout the six centuries of its existence. More rises will be as from the Eighties when cobras, in May 1995 while being recognized by the Parliament of Estrémadure like Tourist Festivity of Interest. The Easter of Caceres lasts eight days, where there are 18 processions, which take to share some 12 brotherhoods or fraternities trained by roughly some 15.000 citizens.

During this week the brotherhoods cacereños present a very particular vision to us Passion, the Death and the Resurrection of Jesus-Christ. The admirable images, some of they of large works of art traverse with "shoulders" of the brotherhoods the streets and the places of the monumental zone of Cáceres. The Easter of Cáceres begins Sunday of Branches with the procession of knowledge like "step" of the "Burrina" and finishes with the procession of the Meeting Sunday of Resurrection.

This procession traverses the medieval enclosure with the only music a shears and of a disturbed drinking cup. For this reason it is also known like the "Procession of Silence" and because many the public which gathers in the streets keeps a respectful silence with its step.

There is a procession called Magna which is carried out only one time each 5 years, in it take to share all the brotherhoods and including some arrivals of outside.
